About Sandra (Rocabruna) Davis
Born Sandra Maritza Rocabruna on January 21st, 1973 to Mario Edgardo Rocabruna and Ixa Marlene Chavez.
I am currently living in La Plata, MD with my husband Lionell Davis and our children Limuel (Lim) and Lauryn.
I have 4 sisters Griselda, Evelyn, Mayra and Yemmi....of course I am Sandra in the middle.
My momories of El Salvador are very limited. But I do remember how I got the nickname "Lala".... I remember an aunt of ours Tia Tonita (sister to my grandfather) asking me what my name was and i quickly replied "Jalala". I don't know where that came from but ever since then I've been call "Lala or Lali by family members. The moral to this story is be careful what you say as a child because it will follow you an eternity. R.I.P. Tia Tonita
I love everything there is for free....as in life, love and family. I will support your cause to no end and be your loudest cheerleader.
I've been blessed thus far with what I've been able to accomplish in my 40 years of living. My favorite colors are black and silver. I have a passion for sports especially football. I am a big Washington Redskins Fan and will fight you if you mess with my team (lol).
I am a bit of a dare devil....I will try just about anything once or twice (until I learn my lesson or break something). I like to fish, swim, bungee, para-sail, jet ski, tubing, ride motorcycles.
I believe life is not to be lived in fear but driven by your mind, heart and soul!
Thank you for reading my post and look forward to seeing you in person......CIAO!

The Royal Family Tree
Our Family Tree.....like the branches we may grow in different directions, but our roots remain firmly in the ground and will keep us all together.
Our tree has been planted and it has been given plenty of water and sunlight. A complete family tree is forthcoming.....

Greetings Family!
We are excited to announce that plans have
begun for the 2014 Rocabruna Family Reunion!
First of all, let us introduce ourselves. We are Sandra Davis (Lala) daughter of Mario Rocabruna,
Evelyn Allen daughter of Irma Rocabruna-Reyes, Roberto Mendez (Tito) son of
Marta Rocabruna Mendez and grandchildren of Salvador & Francisca Rocabruna.
We will be serving as the Family Reunion
Coordinators for the 2014 Rocabruna Family Reunion. We are looking forward to
working with everyone who is interested and willing to help make this reunion a
fun and memorable event for all who attend.
It is a great honor to be a descendant of
this wonderful family. Although several of our ancestors have passed away,
they have left a giant legacy. It is our responsibility to continue to build
upon that legacy. If we do not pass
down our legacy, who will?
The purpose for this needed reunion is to give our family members an opportunity to spend time together visiting loved ones, getting to know one another and building relationships that will last a lifetime. We are looking for individuals to chair several committees. If you are interested in helping and have a special talent, please let us know. We want your help and ideas! A website will be created and it will serve as our means of communication as we plan our reunion. Here you can post photos and stay up on family events and where we are in the planning phase. I truly hope that everyone that receives this letter and will try to make it to the 2014 Reunion. Start spreading the word! It is our dream that the future generations will continue to expound upon this family's heritage.
In Solidarity,
Sandra Davis, Evelyn Allen, Roberto Mendez
